Assignment

The Voices Unheard:

Research-Based Project

In nearly all instances of widespread repression, there are inspiring stories of strength. For this assignment, you will research an event from history where minority voices were repressed. Your job is to analyze this event for your classmates to give further voice to the repressed, identifying those narratives of strength and celebrating them. In your project, you should demonstrate a strong knowledge of the historical era and the complex issues related to your event or person of choice.  For this project, you cannot select a colonial figure or event.
