Finding Images:

How to find images of God or Goddess

  • Watch the video on this page, which shows you how to start your google slides and find images in Britannica ImageQuest.
  • Don't forget to include the brief citation under the image in your slides!

Helpful Hints:

You will find good pictures in Britannica ImageQuest, but not as many images as you may be used to in Google Images.  That's Ok!  Here are a few ways to find a wide variety of pictures (that you can legally use!):

  • expand your search beyond your god or goddess
    • What is your god's domain?  For example, Zeus is known for lightening bolts.  I can search for "lightening"
    • Does your god carry or wear anything noteworthy?
    • Where does your god live?  If my god is Poseidon I might include a picture of an ocean storm.
