    Unknown Author/s
NO Page Numbers 
(i.e. webpage and some database articles)
Known Author + NO Page Numbers:
IF there are no page numbers (like a webpage), just use authors’ last name.
 
Example: 
I am setting up this quote, “this author said something important,” (LastName).
 
2 Authors: (Popma and Koch).
3 or more authors: (Popma et al.).
Unknown Author + NO Page Numbers:
IF there are no page numbers (like a webpage), just use the title. 
Example: 
I am setting up this quote, “this website includes useful information,” (“Title of Source”).
Page Numbers
(like a book)
Known Author + Page Numbers:
I am setting up this quote, “this author said something important,” (LastName 15).
 
2 Authors: (Popma and Koch 15).
3 or more authors: (Popma et al. 15).
 
If you identified the author while introducing the quote, just put the page number:
Author LastName stated, “this author said something important,”  (15).
Unknown Author + Page Numbers
For a book:
I am setting up this quote, “this book includes useful information,” (Title of Book 10). 
 
For an article within a book: 
I am setting up this quote, “this book includes useful information,” ("Article Title" 10).
